FICast Data Corporation was founded in February 2001 and is a leading nationwide provider of outsourced financial institution management information and consulting services.  FICast provides services to approximately 400 institutions across the country, and is only able to service such a large volume of clients thanks to the strength of the team.

Scott A. Buckley

Co-Founder & President

Scott is the co-founder, President, and COO for FICast Data Corporation. With a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology, Scott has over 20 years of successful combined technical, managerial, and entrepreneurial experience. This experience covers a broad range of areas and attests to Scott's ability to quickly grasp emerging technologies and their application to existing or new problems, architect innovative ideas; and to develop, deliver, and deploy highly successful solutions. Scott provides a rare blend of hands-on technical knowledge, business savvy, personal "presence," people skills, and communication ability required in a small company environment.


Scott began his career as an Engineer for Litton Industries Ingalls Shipbuilding Division and later Lockheed where he proved his technical skills in several areas. At Ingalls and just out of school, Scott quickly became responsible for the Combat Systems integration and shipboard installation of some of the U.S. Navy's latest Aegis cruiser weapon systems, including the Tomahawk Cruise Missile and Vertical Launch Systems. From there he moved on to the Lockheed Corporation where he developed advanced avionics software and prepared system specifications for new avionics.


Scott was then hired by INSpire Insurance Solutions' as Vice President of Technology and General Manager of INSpire's Roswell Georgia office from April 1998 to July 2000. INSpire provides software and business process outsourcing solutions for the property and causality (P&C) insurance industry, employing 1200+ employees during Scott's tenure.

Scott is an electrical engineer from Georgia Tech University and currently resides in Atlanta.


Albert A. Forrester, Jr.

Co-Founder & CEO

Al is the co-founder and CEO of FICast Data Corporation. He is a experienced interest rate risk management professional, working in the field for over 25 years.


Al began his career as a management information consultant with Andersen Consulting, now Accenture, working primarily with financial institutions. Following his work at Andersen, Al was a vice president in SunTrust Banks' Treasurer's Department. Al was instrumental in developing and implementing the bank's asset/liability management process. He worked closely with the investment banking division to ensure that investment and off-balance sheet strategies were suited to the structure of the bank's financial assets and liabilities. From there, prior to founding FICast, he moved to the Dallas-Ft. Worth area to develop the bank consulting and A/L management practice for the financial advisory firm, Ponder & Co.


Al currently resides in Atlanta with his wife Sallie, and his two children, Julia and Ben. Al received his undergraduate degree from Louisiana State University, and holds graduate degrees in economics from the London School of Economics and Montana State University.

Mark D. Nelson

Director of Sales

Mark is the Director of Sales at FICast Data Corporation and is responsible for all sales and marketing activity.

With over 30 years of experience in every aspect of financial management, Mark began his professional career with the CPA firm PKM, performing financial institution audits. While at PKM, he received his CPA license.

Mark accepted the CFO position with The Bankers Bank, at the time a $75mm financial institution. Mark managed business plans and participated in the development of technology platforms that transformed the bank into an $850mm multi-state correspondent bank during his 8 year tenure as CFO. Mark became interested in helping financial institutions adopt online banking and bill payment and accepted the position of Regional Sales Manager with Intelidata, a publicly traded software development company focused on building an online banking and bill payment solution for mid-tier financial institutions. After spending 5 years educating financial institution executives on the benefits of this transformative technology, Mark took a position as Regional Sales Manager with Banker’s Dashboard, a start-up that was developing a cloud-based business intelligence solution that helped financial institutions manage and maintain high performance financial results. After 5-years, the company had over 300 financial institution clients and was sold to Deluxe Corporation for $45mm. Three years after the acquisition, Mark joined SNL Financial and spent the next 4 years as a Regional Sales Director focused on promoting the benefits of installing and using the company’s on-premises business intelligence product. Mark was accepted into the President’s Club after his first full year with the company for exceeding sales targets.

Mark has a BBA in Accounting from Auburn University and completed the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado.

Mark currently resides in Atlanta with his wife Jan, and two children, Trent and Carly.

Paul White

Director of Consulting

Paul is FICast's Director of Consulting. He has a Master's degree in Chemistry from Oxford University (UK). He is formerly the head of "Barclays Swaps and Options" which grew from a start-up operation in New York to the recognized World leader in Interest Rate, Currency, Equity and Commodities Risk management and Hedging techniques. Paul then moved to Atlanta to become CEO of SunTrust Bank's Investment Banking Unit. He was instrumental in developing SunTrust's Risk Management business.


Paul and his wife, Marcia, currently reside in Atlanta.

Thomas E. Swift

Director of Information Technology

Tom is Director of Information Technology for FICast Data Corporation and is responsible for developing, integrating and maintaining the FICast system. His experience with a wide variety of disparate systems makes him uniquely suited to integrate the interface between customers' systems and FICast.


Tom began his career as a software developer for Lockheed Martin in Marietta, GA. He developed software for advanced avionics systems for the C5 and the C130 military cargo planes. From there he moved on to Nortel Networks in Alpharetta, Georgia as a Senior Engineer where he worked on several industry-leading telecommunications products. These included a DSL product where he developed software in Java which is integral to the web-based FICast product. He continued in his system integration and developer role after the sale of Paragon to INSpire Insurance Solutions.


Tom received his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Electrical Engineering from the University of Tennessee. He and his wife, Darla, have two children and currently reside in Woodstock, Georgia.


Craig J. Clark

Director of Data Processing

Craig is the Director of Data Processing for FICast Data Corporation.  He joined FICast as a consultant in 2002 and became a full time employee in 2003.  Craig has over 20 years of System Engineering experience. He was instrumental in developing the FICast database architecture and data processing system.  Currently, Craig builds new client data processes using FICast’s proprietary data formatting and translation software.  He also processes client production data in preparation for its use with the various FICast products.


Craig has two undergraduate degrees from the University of Utah in Electrical Engineering and the University of Iowa in Asian Studies.  He also holds a graduate degree in Information Management from The George Washington University.  He spent ten years in the United States Navy as both a non-commissioned and commissioned officer.


Prior to joining FICast Data Corporation, Craig has held several technology positions with a focus in programming development.  His various positions include Aegis Weapons Development, and a Combat System Engineer, for combining engineering and combat systems, including developing databases for tracking and solving problems.

Jacqueline Thelen

Business, Account, & Human Resources Manager

Jackie recently joined FiCast as the general business manager, revenue management, accounting/controller procedures, human resources, contract management and data processing.  She brings with her a wealth of knowledge and experience from general business management, sales and marketing, small business accounting procedures.


She holds both an undergraduate degree and Masters of Science degree (1993) from Georgia State University in Decision Science focusing on decision support systems and statistical theory.  Her degrees were completed while working full-time for The Coca-Cola Company.  She worked there for over 12 years of responsible areas of Strategic Marketing, including data analysis, presentation, development of tracking marketing to bottom line financial results.  She took a temporary assignment in Mexico City working on Revenue and Channel Management.  After Coke reorganized in 2000, she joined the family business with the intended closure of the business upon her father’s retirement.  While working for the business, she learned to the remodeling business, including drafting.  Most specifically, under her leadership, sales grew from $1.5million to $2.2 million in 4 years.


Derek Harris

Program Manager

Derek Harris is the BankBI Program Manager and a Financial Analyst at FICast Data Corporation with 10 years of working in the financial services industry in a variety of professions.  Before coming to FICast, Derek was an intern at the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, an Assistant Account at Six Flags Over Georgia and all related properties, and a part-time financial analyst for Purchasing Power, an employee payroll benefits company.  These internships provided Derek with a firm understanding of how companies, both large and small, operate, as well as an increased capacity for research, coding, and design.


Derek has a B.B.A. with a concentration in Finance from the Coles College of Business at Kennesaw State University.  During his tenure at Kennesaw State, Derek received several merit scholarships, as well as being on the Dean’s and President’s lists for every semester.  After graduating from Kennesaw State, Derek joined the team at FICast Data Corporation, and has assisted with streamlining the modeling process, from data translation through to modeling.


Derek currently resides in Seattle, Washington.  He enjoys rock climbing, snowboarding, hiking, cycling, and yoga.

Aga Parker

Financial Analyst

Aga Parker is a Financial Analyst at FICast Data Corporation.  She graduated in 2001 from Politechnika Radomska in Radom, Poland with Masters Degree in Finance.   At the same time she received the teacher certification.  Since then, Aga moved to the United States and attended Kennesaw State University.  In 2006 she completed her M.B.A. at Kennesaw State University - Michael J. Coles College of Business with a focus on finance.


After graduating Aga joined the company.  At FICast Data she gained experience with the process of Asset-Liability Management.  She is responsible for modeling, analyzing and producing the Interest Rate Risk reporting, as well as explaining reporting results and investigate variances.


Aga and her husband, Chris, currently reside in Roswell, Georgia.

Robert Sosebee

Financial Analyst

Robert is an Asset Liability Analyst who has been working at FICast Data Corporation since 2008. He graduated from Kennesaw State University in 2006 with B.B.A. in Finance. He joined the company several months before the financial crash which allowed him to witness a consolidating and evolving banking industry with a more stringent focus on managing interest rate risk. He is proficient in IPS-Sendero modeling, ZM Financial Services modeling, and Microsoft Office. As a valued member of the FICast team, he provides ALM reports and helps bankers understand the specific interest rate risks associated with their individual balance sheet compositions.
